It's Been A While

I have finished up the majority of the work on the project last posted in April 2023...will post photos when I get it over the finish line.

Today I have been working on a long-abandoned piece. Decided to fill in all the green rather than leave it open, so it's gonna take a day or two (or fifty) to finish, but hopefully I WILL get it finished.

Always BELIEVE!

Another Work in Progess

Well, it's been over a freakin' year, but I am finally stitching again. Here's my current WIP:

Current Work in Progress

Looks like I'm finally back into the swing of things a bit, stitching wise anyway. ;)  I find that as I get older, I like using perforated paper more and more....

Something Little and Something New

I finished up two small Mill Hill Bead kits before I go back to my grandson's stocking:

And I have embarked a new-to-me project, beaded book thongs:

The book thongs are easy and quick to make, so they are a good balance to the large project of the stocking. Coloring with thread...and with beads.

Finally, another finish!

I started this piece before Thanksgiving, thinking I'd have it done in time for Christmas. Well, best laid plans and all that, it is *finally* done.

Believe

I have many mantras (you make your own happiness; find your bliss; did you dent the sidewalk?; it's a long way from your heart; think outside the damn box; it is what it is; you get what you give; karma's a bitch), but this time of year - the beginning of the holiday season - my main mantra is BELIEVE. I believe heart and soul in Santa Claus, and my holiday decor reflects that. When I found this Mill Hill Buttons & Beads Winter Series kit I just knew it was for me, and I will complete it before Christmas!

You must always BELIEVE!
